Gary Mann has over 15 years experience as an environmental scientist and manager working on projects in Canada and abroad. He specializes in ecological risk assessment, environmental monitoring and assessment, statistical analysis, and environmental training. His professional skills include risk analysis, design and implementation of field studies and monitoring programs, and analysis and interpretation of data. Successful integration of his management experience and technical skills has contributed to the development of innovative, science-based strategies for managing environmental issues for a wide range of complex sites. Examples include risk-based management of groups of contaminated sites (e.g., lightstations and small craft harbours) and adaptive management strategies for active industrial sites.
